Softball is canceled for today.

Heritage High School is hosting their first home football game this evening. If you plan to attend please review the attached information regarding procedures during the construction of the HHS track around the football field. Also, please remember that children under the age of 14 should be attending the game with an adult. Thank you and happy Friday!!

On August 20, 2026, at approximately 2:38 PM, Heritage High and Middle Schools were placed on a temporary lockdown as a safety precaution following reports of a suspicious person on campus grounds.

Local law enforcement responded immediately to evaluate the situation and secure the campus perimeter. Upon investigation, officers determined that the individual reported was an official referee arriving for a scheduled soccer game who had inadvertently parked in an unauthorized area.

Once law enforcement confirmed there was no threat to the school, the lockdown was officially lifted at approximately 2:54 PM. Students were safely directed back to their classes and normal daily activities resumed.

The soft lockdown has been lifted at this time and students have returned to their normal schedule.

New Beta member applications are due to Mrs. Dyer, room 709, by the end of the day this Friday (8/21).
We will not be accepting late applications so make sure to get it turned in on time!

IT’S HOMECOMING GAME WEEK AT HERITAGE!

The Heritage Middle School Mountaineers are taking on the Maryville Jr. High Rebels in a Homecoming showdown on Thursday night!

Before kickoff, we’ll take a moment to recognize our 8th grade football players and cheerleaders as we celebrate their final football season here at HMS.

Then, at HALFTIME, it’s time for HOMECOMING! We’ll crown our 2026 Homecoming royalty and celebrate with the whole Mountaineer family!

Come out, pack the stands, and show our Mountaineers some serious HMS PRIDE!

Fishing Team

On Aug 24th from 5:30pm-7 pm at the HHS Cafeteria we will have our first Fishing team meeting, and it will be the last day to sign up if anyone is still interested.
