We are thrilled to announce that 2026 PreK & Kindergarten Registration will take place on Friday, April 10, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at all elementary school sites district-wide! 🏔️📚 Whether your little one is joining the Class of 2039 or 2040, we are ready to welcome you into the BCS family with open arms. What you need to know: ✅ Greater Flexibility: No registration by last name this year—visit your school anytime during the 8 AM – 2 PM window! ✅ Unified Process: We’ve streamlined our forms for a more consistent, informative experience for every family. ✅ Planning Ahead: You will receive your student's specific staggered start dates right at registration. ⚠️ Important Note: There will be no school for current PreK and Kindergarten students on April 10 to allow our staff to focus on welcoming our newest learners. Blount County Schools will be on Spring Break March 16 – March 20, so get ready for a well-deserved week to relax, recharge, and enjoy some sunshine! 🌴😎

📅 Reminder:
Teachers return for a Professional Development Day on Monday, March 23, so students will not be in school that day.

We hope our families enjoy the break and come back refreshed and ready to finish the semester strong!
