Boys Basketball will hold an open gym Monday August 17th from 3:45 to 5:15. We are looking for additional players and would encourage all male students grades 6th through 8th with any interest in playing to please attend.
Current 7th and 8th grade Beta members and any 6th-8th grade student interested in joining Beta, we will have our first meeting on Monday, August 17th at 7:30am in the library.
We will be discussing membership fees and sharing information about our State Conference in Nashville.

Teens for Christ will begin THIS Thursday in Mrs. King's Room at 7:40am!

Mountaineers, spirit week is here as we prepare for our homecoming football game next on Thursday, August 20th. Next week, we will have spirit week to show our support for our Mountaineer football team as well as support our homecoming court that you will vote on soon. Themed days selected by Student Council members are as follows:

Last night, the Heritage Mountaineers football team won a very hard fought game over Lake Forest 40-32.
Levi Sexton, Major McNeil, and Liam Bailey contributed to the offensive firepower, but it was the Mountaineer defense who came up clutch to get a goalline stand, which led to a game winning 65 yard TD run from Levi Sexton on the second to last play of the game!
The 1-0 Mountaineers will have a bye week before facing the Maryville Rebels on Thursday August 20th.

If you left any artwork or your sketchbook in the Art room at the end of Quarter 4 last school year, Ms. Gentry will keep it until Friday, August 7th.

26 Girls Soccer Schedule
SARA Test at HMS, 10am - We will be testing our emergency alert system this morning around 10am. This is only a test to ensure all of our systems are working correctly and that our students and staff know what to do in an emergency. We will have multiple safety drills and tests in the coming weeks to ensure that all members of our campus community are as prepared as possible.
