Heritage Middle School tennis team won our match yesterday against one of the two Maryville Junior High teams 3 to 2 and split the exhibition matches 2 to 2!

Some of the matches were close. Everyone played well and gave their very best. Coach Carl is proud of all of them!

Last night, the Heritage Mountaineers football team dominated their cross-town rivals William Blount 42-16. The Mountaineers went up 12-0 within the first 2 minutes of the game thanks to an opening kickoff return TD from Zack Morris, followed by an onside kick recovery and subsequent TD run from Levi Sexton.

Anchored by the offensive line, the Mountaineer offense continued its explosive night adding 30 more points, including 2 long TD passes from Levi Sexton to Zack Morris. Defensively, the Mountaineers stymied the Mini Governor offense, with several tackles for loss, and interceptions by Liam Bailey and Brodie Franklin, which helped the team secure the victory!

The 2-1 Mountaineers take on North Middle School next week in Lenoir City.
